Often when I come across interesting sites like bird nest cams or undersea maps etc, I share them on my social media. Some of my friends and family members, who are not into science, tell me how much they enjoy seeing this information; information that they normally might not be exposed to. This experience is what lead me to start this blog. My goal for this blog is to share STEAM related stories I find interesting. In education STEAM is a more about combining the topics and focuses on processes. Here I will include some of those stories but will also include stories related to each individual topic included in STEAM-Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
My background as a science teacher, robotics team coach and art teacher also seemed like a pretty good match for writing about STEAM. My interest in and love of children’s books lead me to also include book reviews related to my blog topics.
I hope that anyone interested in STEAM might, at least sometimes, find something interesting and relevant to them here.
